Military.com writer, T. T. Robinson, wrote an amazing article outlining the difference between Memorial Day and Veteran's Day. In short, Veteran's Day is the day to honor and celebrate all those who serve or have served our country; while Memorial Day is a day to honor and remember all those who have given their lives in the service of our Nation.
While Memorial Day has somehow become the unofficial start of summer in the minds of most Americans, we all need to step back and remember the reason we take the day off of work and school: to honor those who have given their lives for the freedoms we enjoy in this glorious country.
T.T. Robinson offers a few ideas on ways you and I can celebrate and honor our heroes on Memorial Day, namely:
- Attend a memorial service at a national cemetery.
- Talk to your friends and family about sacrifice, about service, and about what this three-day weekend really means.
- Donate to a non-profit that benefits military families who've lost loved ones.
- Observe the National Moment of Remembrance at 3:00 p.m. Monday with a minute of silence.
- Live our lives with a spirit of gratitude!

If multiple promotions, discount codes, or offers are applied or attempted on the same order, the Company reserves the right to determine which single promotion will be honored. Any additional promotions, discounts, free gifts, or special offers may be removed or voided without prior notice.
Promotional Eligibility
Promotions are valid only during the advertised promotional period and are subject to availability. All promotions may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without prior notice.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the desired promotion or discount code has been correctly applied before completing the checkout process.
Promotions Are Not Retroactive
Promotions, coupon codes, discounts, and special offers cannot be applied retroactively to orders that have already been placed. Once an order has been submitted, we are unable to add, replace, or modify any promotional offer associated with that order.
If a promotion was not applied during checkout, it cannot be added afterward, even if the promotion was active at the time the order was placed.
Order Cancellations to Reapply Promotions
If a customer wishes to use a different promotion after placing an order, the order must first be eligible for cancellation. Cancellation requests are honored only if the order has not yet entered processing or shipment. Due to our fast fulfillment process, we cannot guarantee that an order can be canceled before it is processed.
If an order has already been processed or shipped, it cannot be canceled solely to apply a different promotion.
Company Discretion
The Company reserves the right to reject, modify, or cancel any promotion or discount that has been applied in violation of these terms or as a result of a system error, misuse, or abuse of promotional offers.
